W.W. Giles has its origins in no more apt an establishment than London’s Smithfield Market; a place that has seen meat products being traded for over 800 years.
The Lion
The lion depicted in W.W. Giles’ logo is derived from the distinctive ironwork gates of Smithfield Market; originally designed by Sir Horace Jones in the 1860′s. It reflects the close association W.W. Giles has with its iconic birthplace.
Traditional Values
The company has grown organically from its market roots, expanding to operate from 3 UK offices. However, whilst W.W. Giles is continually evolving, we can be trusted to always retain the traditional values, knowledge and good humour synonymous with the trading floor of Smithfield.
